Marki has enjoyed writing stuff since third grade when she wrote plays for her little circle of friends in a Kansas grade school. By age 13, she decided she would be a writer when she grew up. Well, she never quite grew up but she somehow made it to 50. With an M.S. in Technical Communications in 1992, she worked for a textbook publishing company and a major high tech corporation reformatting documentation. Then she found her way to the internet, where she is today. She continues to learn, and she’s determined to uncover the secrets for why school smarts, idealism and money smarts don’t always match.
